Use Your Post-breakup Resilience to Inspire

Use Your Post-breakup Resilience to Inspire

If you’re on the other side of a breakup, you’ve had your own storms. And you know what it’s like to survive them. Nothing has felt better to me than paying it forward.

With election anxiety flying high, those of us on the other side of a breakup have an opportunity to remind the world that even in the darkest of times, there is light.

Together, we can inspire our nation to rise above their fears and embrace whatever comes next.

Here's ways I’ve inspired others to find their peace, even in the midst of chaos:

  1. Focus On What You Can Control: Life is full of uncertainties, and trying to control everything can lead to stress and anxiety. Instead, focus on what you can control: your thoughts, feelings, and actions.
  2. Quiet the Noise: Strolling political ads can be crowd the mind with negativity. Take time each day to pause and quiet the noise of the world before opening social media. Whether it's through meditation, prayer, or simply spending time in nature, find ways to connect with your inner self.
  3. Trust the Process: Overcoming the pain from my divorce showed me life will always be unpredictable, filled with twists and turns we never expected. Instead of fighting against the current, I now trust the process and believe that everything is connected to my highest purpose.
  4. Embrace the Imperfect: My healing journey showed me my own imperfections. But I learned to challenge them and embrace them. I event now find beauty in them and appreciate the unique experiences that shape who I am and what who others are, which helps me unearth opportunities to work together!
  5. When you or a loved one need more guidance on any of these, seek out professional help.

When I finally found inner peace, it better equipped me to handle whatever is coming next. Together, all of us on the other side of breakup can can use our journey to help transform fear into compassion, and hope in the hearts of all.

Cheers to you and inner peace! 🕊️💕
