Virgin Long Island Iced Tea Recipe

Wondering what to do with leftover apple cider?

Here is a booze free take on Long Island Iced Tea that is as rich and interesting as the original version but again friendly to those who do not dig alcohol.

1 Earl gray tea bag 1 c, Water ½ c. Ginger beer ¼ c. Spiced apple cider ¼ c. Lemon juice ¼ c. Lime juice Splash of root beer to top of the drink

To start things off, bring the cup of water to a boil, and once at a boil add the teabag, kill the heat and let it steep for 10 minutes. Once properly steeped remove the tea bag and let it cool down to at least room temperature before chilling it. Then to your chilled tea, add the ginger beer, cider, lemon and lime juices. Pour it into a long tall glass filled with ice, leaving a little to pour a little rootbeer on top. And you’ve got a virgin long island iced tea, ready to drink. Enjoy!!
